About i-volunteers
Institute of Advance Education and Social Welfare is a non-profit and non-political platform of energetic and enthusiastic individuals who themselves committed for helping communities. Volunteers of the institute are celebrated as i-volunteers by creating awareness to the society on education, health, child labor, human development, environment, social justice, peace and cultures. The institute was established in March 2016 with a dream of alleviating human sufferings, poverty, diseases from the whole world. To ensure legal validity, the Institute of Advance Education and Social Welfare is registered with the Government under The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961 (Ministry of Social Welfare) The Societies Registration Act 1860 (Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms) Institute of Advance Education and Social Welfare is working to get listing with NGO Affairs Bureau, Department of Library and concerned authorities. i-volunteers run their activities by funding themselves and by ensuring rules and regulations of the respective country. The institute is seeking partnership with other institutions and individuals to execute voluntary activities, research and development projects for better and productive approach with a motive – “for the happiness of others”.
Our Reach
In keeping with our philosophy of Creating and Raising Awareness, we have hundreds of active volunteers in Bangladesh and India. We effort in the remotest of rural as well as urban areas to improve the surroundings of neglected communities.

Mission
We effort on improved environmental management, community empowerment and fulfillment of basic human needs by creating awareness on education, health, civilization and laws. Thus, i-volunteers envision a pacific world that is unbiased and sustainable where people everywhere are empowered, aware of their common humanity and able to live a life of dignity.
Volunteers/Management/Board:
Institute of Advance Education and Social Welfare consists of seven (7) Executive Board members, a team of Management committee and hundreds of Volunteers. Board Members take the key policies; Management Committee members lead the programs and run daily official activities whereas the volunteers are the spirit of the institute.
Ms. Shirin Chowdhury has 20 years long professional experiences with Grameen Telecom, GETCO, Kazi Farms Group, EDISON Group, & Ha-Meem Group in the field of HR, Admin and Training. Currently she is working with a multinational company as Country Operations Manager. Ms. Shirin Chowdhury is one of the founders of Human Resources Club Bangladesh Ltd., Fellow Member of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM). Ms. Shirin Chowdhury has completed Bachelor and Master in Science from University of Dhaka. She has also completed MBA major in HRM and PGDHRM. Ms. Shirin Chowdhury is involved with i-volunteers from July 2018.
Dr. Nusrat Jahan Dristy is a registered physician. She has completed her MBBS from Mymensing Community Based Medical College and Hospital. She has also completed Specialized Master Program in “Clinical Social Work” from Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka. Dr. Nusrat Jahan Dristy has more than 6 years working experience in health sectors including in Save the Children projects. She is involved with many social organizations. She is a famous media face for health programs. Dr. Nusrat Jahan Dristy is serving for i-volunteers as a Head of Health Programs from July 2018
Md. Wasi Azam has obtained his Bachelor and Master degree in Business Administration from University of Dhaka. He has more than ten years’ administrative and operational experiences in regulatory and corporate sector. He has attained six months long practical and theoretical training on Project Planning, Management and Development from Government National Academy of Planning and Development. He has also participated on Global Marketing Research training at Eötvös Loránd University. He is serving the Institute from March 2016 and currently is involved with the weekend programs as Head of Operations.
Ms. Farhana Arifin is graduate in Economics from Eden College, Dhaka. She has also done an MBA from Daffodil International University. She started her career as a teacher. Later she worked as Recruiting Analyst. She has several trainings on ICT sectors. Ms. Farhan Arifin is working with i-volunteers from March 2016
Kriparthi Sarkar has completed her BSc from Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata and MSc from Kanpur University, Kanpur. Currently she is working as a teacher at Bhaktivedanta National School in India. Ms. Kriparthi Sarkar is involved with the “i-volunteers” from March 2016 and looks after the awareness campaign in Kolkata and Delhi city.
Md. Shahadat Hossain Tipu is a graduate in English literature. He has more than twenty years working experience in administration in small and medium enterprises. Md. Shahadat Hossain Tipu is working as Office Manager in Institute of Advance Education and Social Welfare from March 2016.
